The future looks particularly uncertain as we head into 2015, but HR Solutions are here to ensure that your business HR is in great shape.
Mixed economic predictions for 2015 provide little comfort for UK business owners, with analysts disagreeing over the rate of growth whilst others warn of a potential return to recession.
The Financial Times’ annual economist’s survey reported an optimistic outlook for 2015, with 77 out of their 90 respondents expecting satisfactory expansion rates to continue. On the other hand, forecasting group EY Item Club have said that the economy will grow but at only 2.4%, significantly lower than the 3.1% predicted by the Bank of England.
So what does 2015 hold for HR?
There are already some significant changes coming to UK employment law throughout 2015, including:
- The introduction of Shared Paternity Leave
- The ongoing definition of Holiday Pay
- The impact of obesity being reclassified as a disability
One certainty is that there will be many more changes following the General Election that will require evaluation, planning, and best practice guidelines – and that’s where we can help.
