As an HR Advisor, Chris’ role is to provide advice and support to HR Solutions’ clients in relation to any employee matters they may have.

Chris is dedicated to providing a first class provision of professional telephone and email advice to HR Solutions’ clients, on all aspects of employee relations including Disciplinary, Grievance, Absence Management, Restructure, Redundancy and TUPE.

He supports our HR Consultants and ensures that client employee documentation, including offer letters,  written statements and Employee Handbooks are sent out on time and are up to date.

Chris achieved a BA in Business Studies (Hons) (2:1) from Nottingham Trent University and CIPD Level 5 Diploma in HR Management.  He first got involved in HR after transferring from a procurement role at Kier Construction and Infrastructure Services Group, where he then progressed his career with an internal promotion.  Chris initially moved into HR as he wanted to work with people more and to learn about how to deal with employee relations issues; particularly how complex issues can be resolved simply and clearly.

Chris’ HR experience covers employees of all levels working within highways, utilities, construction and infrastructure sectors. He also has experience working for Intraining – a provider of work-based learning and Apprenticeships (part of the Newcastle College Group) and Allianz Insurance.

What is your greatest personal achievement?

My greatest achievements are fatherhood, living abroad, and getting on the property ladder.
