HR Solutions offers two essential Management Development Training Courses to help support your business in dealing with workplace concerns and keeping up to date with HR best practice. The Equality & Inclusion and Disciplinary & Grievance online courses also help to ensure that your business demonstrates compliance with employment law by training staff and managers.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

CPD enables you to track and document the skills, knowledge and experience that you gather as you work. The Equality & Inclusion and the Disciplinary & Grievance training courses, delivered by HR Solutions, are CPD accredited. The courses carry the CPD logo, along with details of the credits you will receive for completing them.  After you have completed a CPD-accredited session, you will be provided with a certificate that will detail what you need to do to claim your points.

Your course instructor, Terry Hayward, HR Consultant at HR Solutions, manages a diverse portfolio of UK clients to help them with their employee relations queries; and he also delivers our Management Development Training Courses.  With over 15 years HR experience, Terry is a Chartered Member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development), and holds a Masters degree in Human Resource Management. He is skilled in managing a wide range of HR projects including restructures, TUPE, employee relations disputes, training programmes, employee engagement and talent management. Terry is also an experienced tutor on the accredited CIPD and ILM (The Institute of Leadership Management) courses. HR Solutions and Terry look forward to welcoming you on our upcoming training courses which are summarised below.

Equality & Inclusion

This half day, online training course celebrates equality and inclusion and highlights the advantage of having a diverse workforce. It covers the legislation that underpins the Equality Act 2010, and challenges stereotypes. It helps managers to understand that some actions require some lateral thinking to ensure that they are not discriminating against a certain group of staff, even indirectly. This course aims to challenge our thinking on the subject and leave managers with a better understanding of how equality, inclusion and diversity is so valuable and how to avoid some common mistakes. The next upcoming Equality & Inclusion training course is as follows:

28 June, Monday
1pm – 4:30pm
Online via Microsoft Teams

 Disciplinary & Grievance

This half day, online training course covers the investigation of a disciplinary or a grievance, focusing on the formal process for an appropriate outcome. Standard HR policies are put in place to help managers deal with misconduct amongst their employees, and to enable employees to air and resolve any issues in the workplace, yet it takes a skilled manager to get them right. This course brings these policies to life and aims to leave managers with an understanding of how to manage them, and how to handle circumstances where they deviate from the usual procedure. The next upcoming course details are as follows:

14 July, Wednesday
9:30am – 1pm
Online via Microsoft Teams
