Get practical HR Strategies

Through a HR perspective, we will respond to the hopes and fears that our delegates bring to our interactive workshops. We will look at what legislative changes are on the horizon, particularly regarding EU law currently implemented in the UK and we will provide practical strategies on how employers may safely adapt their employment law compliance practices in the light of any changes that may come about.

You’ll also be provided with tools to support with matters such as:

  • Adapting policies in line with changes to the law
  • Using this time of change and uncertainty to modernise your HR practices to help you get ahead of your competitors by improving your employer brand in the process
  • Responding to concerns of your EU national employees.

Free Movement and the Right to Work

As the 29th March 2019 approaches, we are already starting to see the face of HR and employment law being shaped by Brexit.

The announcement of the end of free movement is already forcing employers to consider the right to work of employees who are EU nationals, as well as their British employees who are based in the EU. We are also having to re-imagine our internal processes for checking the right to work in the future.

Shortages in Recruitment Candidates

Questions are being asked about shortages in recruitment candidates, as employment is on the up but the number of available candidates is down and noteworthy surveys have indicated that a significant number EU nationals are reporting their concerns and reluctance to continue working in the UK. This is causing profound concern over the shrinking talent pool, which has already been reported by a broad range of both skilled and unskilled industries.

Brexit Survey

HR Solutions aim to provide tailored support to businesses to help them with the Brexit challenges that they may face. We aim to ensure that you are provided with tools and support that can help you prepare for whatever challenges you believe that Brexit will bring.

We have therefore designed a short Brexit research questionnaire to explore the views of our clients, HR news subscribers, and website visitors.

Please click here to take 5 minutes of your time to complete our Brexit survey.
The survey will remain open until 30th November 2018
