As a continuation of our joint webinar series from 2021, the 7 Key Successes seminar will build on the areas of focus and set you up to unlock your true business potential. This one day seminar is a great opportunity to further explore how to achieve a positive attitude in both business and in life; as well as analysing ways to maximise your profit, potential and credentials.
What to expect on the day
Each session throughout the day will focus on a different area, ensuring that you have the chance to openly share your thoughts at every stage:
Vision and Goals
The first session will focus on your business ‘visions and goals’. Having a vision provides a sense of purpose and direction for the business. Your vision will help you define your short and long-term goals. A clear vision which outlines your overall objectives and the steps that you will take to achieve them can have a significant impact on the success of your business.
As Joe Sword, Director of Strategic Consultancy at Nordens, explains, “people who have a goal, and write it down, are thirty times more successful than those without goals”.
However, it may be good to have a goal to work to yet if it’s not clear or meaningful and lacks purpose it is basically worthless. Setting poor quality goals can not only provide stagnation but in many cases, can deteriorate and gradually destroy a business.
Sales and Marketing
Sales and marketing is often one of the most overlooked and misunderstood aspects of running a business. Many people view sales and marketing as giving your business a tone of voice and putting it on social media, however the concept stretches far beyond this.
Having a clear sales and marketing strategy is often the biggest difference between a successful and an unsuccessful business.
Mindset
The third area that we will focus on is mindset. Having a fixed or rigid mindset in business can almost certainly result in failure or limited achievement.
Success is based on the ability to use your mind in the right way and achieve growth.
Mindset is perhaps one the most underrated tools in business and if not approached correctly can result in a huge detrimental effect on your business and your own wellbeing.
Cashflow
Our fourth key success topic area is cashflow. The most common reason a business fails is simply because they run out of money or aren’t getting the funding they require to survive.
Throughout the session you will have the opportunity to share your own thoughts on cashflow and the impact that it has had on your business, with key suggestions and areas of learning highlighted showcasing the support that Nordens can offer you and your business.
Systems and Processes
Inadequate systems and processes can substantially hold a business back and not embracing modern technology can be the difference between a successful business and failure. For our fifth key success we will explore how you can stay up to date with your systems and processes and the effects that they can have on your business performance.
Profitability
The sixth key success relates to the clarity and understanding of your business’ performance and ultimately, its profitability. We will be looking at ways that you can improve your profitability and how important it is to the day to day running of your business.
Team and Culture
The final area that we will be discussing is your team and culture. If your employees feel like they are being treated well and the culture of the company matches their own, they are much more likely to perform well for you.
Not having a well-established team can often cause misdirection amongst colleagues which ultimately can be detrimental to the overall success of your business.
We will explore the importance of a strong team and business culture as well as some key adjustments you can make to your own business to better understand your employees and how they feel in the workplace.
