During her seven years with FFP, since May 2011, Kay perfected her skills and after two years there she was promoted to managing payroll for 148 employees as well as issuing terms and conditions and offer letters to new starters.
Kay’s career started in purchase ledger before she moved onto credit control and then payroll. She has previously worked for Installation Solution Providers (ISP) who specialised in the installation of whiteboard equipment, overhead projectors and information and communications technology (ICT) for the education sector. Prior to this Kay was responsible for credit control at Blue Arrow recruitment agency, where she worked with one of the company’s biggest corporate clients bringing in £1.5 million per month.
In her spare time Kay enjoys dressmaking, arts and crafts and swimming.

What’s your greatest personal achievement?
I made my own wedding dress and I also made 17 dresses including the bride’s dress at my sister in laws wedding!
What is your favourite quote?
When you can’t find the sunshine – be the sunshine.
What is your favourite film?
Dirty dancing is my all-time favourite film – it’s fun and easy to watch.
